UC Irvine senior women’s basketball standout Kristen Green, a

second-team All-Big West Conference selection, was the lone

all-conference honoree representing the Anteater men’s and women’s

teams.

Green, a 5-foot-8 guard who averaged 13.5 points, 5.5 rebounds,

five assists and 1.6 steals, also netted a team-high 55

three-pointers. Her 2.2 three balls per game ranked second among Big

West women.

and eight rebounds (second best in the conference), earned honorable

mention from the women’s coaches.

Senior Adam Parada and sophomore Jeff Gloger also received

honorable mention from the men’s coaches.

The 7-0 Parada averaged a team-leading 12.3 points and 6.6

rebounds, while shooting 58.1% from the field.

Gloger, a 6-4 point guard, averaged 9.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.2

assists and 2.1 steals. His 135 career steals already rank second on

he school’s all-time list.

Both the UCI men (11-17, 6-12 in conference) and the women (6-20,

5-13) failed to advance to the eight-team conference tournament.

University of the Pacific senior guard Miah Davis was the men’

Player of the Year, while Idaho sophomore center Emily Faurholt was

women’s Player of the Year.
