An article in Thursday’s Pilot, “Deadline met, but KOCE deal not

set,” incorrectly stated which group had missed two deadlines to

agree to terms on the sale of the station. The KOCE-TV Foundation

missed the deadlines.

An article in Thursday’s Pilot, “City will look into stabilizing

canyon,” incorrectly reported the scope of the city’s contract with

RLF Engineering to study erosion at Morning Canyon. The City Council

approved only the first phase of the work to evaluate soil and gather

other data. That work will cost about $100,000. The council also

voted to look into the city’s legal liability to correct erosion in

the canyon.

In Wednesday’s Pilot, a story, “Crystal Cove a favored state

park,” misstated when the first phase of the restoration process at

the park would start. The restoration started Monday.
