neighbor who had allegedly tried to break into her house and made

unwelcome efforts to contact her in the 300 block at 9:30 a.m.

* Forest Avenue: Two teenage girls reportedly harassed an employee

in a business in the 200 block at 3:13 p.m.

* Jasmine Street and North Coast Highway: A man was reportedly

punched in the head after he and his girlfriend refused to leave a

balcony at 6:36 p.m.

* Table Rock Drive: Ten minors were reportedly carrying a box of

Smirnoff Ice to the beach in the 31500 block at 3:07 p.m.

MONDAY

* Crescent Bay and Drive and North Coast Highway: A man was

arrested on a burglary warrant after police received a tip from a

citizen at 6:23 p.m.

* South Coast Highway: A person reported receiving a threatening

letter from a neighbor who blamed the reporting party for the death

of a pedestrian in the 2000 block at 11:39 a.m. The reporting party

told police that the neighbor was “weird.”

* South Coast Highway: A burglary was reported at a restaurant in

the 500 block at 9:06 p.m.

* South Coast Highway and Anita Street: Someone was reportedly

pounding on a metal chair with a sledgehammer in front of a

Laundromat at 8:31 p.m.

* Mountain Road and Catalina Street: A suitcase valued at $1,500

was reported stolen at 8:12 a.m.

* South Coast Highway: Two cellphones were reported stolen out of

a car in a hotel parking lot in the 1500 block at 10:25 a.m.

* South Coast Highway: Several people were reportedly yelling in

front of a business in the 1100 block at 6:45 p.m.

* Thalia Street: A man reported that he was punched in the chest

in the 500 block at 7:38 p.m.

* Viejo Street and North Coast Highway: Three people were

reportedly using drugs in a car at 4:15 p.m.

SATURDAY

* Glenneyre Street: A woman reported that her purse was stolen out

of her car in the 300 block at 1:30 p.m.

* The Lakes and Laguna Canyon Road: A Los Angeles man was arrested

on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance at 10:54 p.m.

of driving under the influence for the third time in seven years in
