Player evaluations are today for area leagues

The Boys & Girls Club of the Harbor Area, Lou Yantorn Branch, will

be starting roller hockey leagues March 29.

Today is player evaluation day for beginning to expert skaters.

Players will go through a test to assist in drafting fair teams.

There is still time to join a team in one of the six leagues.

First- and second-graders will play games at 4 p.m. Monday through

Thursday; third-graders will play from 4 to 6 p.m. on Fridays;

fourth-graders will play from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursdays; fifth-graders

will play from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays; sixth-graders will compete

from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and seventh-and eighth-grade teams will

play from 5 to 7 p.m. on Mondays.

Volunteer coaches are still needed for all of the leagues. Teams

will be drafted March 20.

Boys and girls interested should register at the Boys & Girls Club

at 2131 Tustin Ave., Costa Mesa.
