Fair tickets go to box office this weekend

Tickets will go on sale Sunday for the first three acts scheduled

for this summer’s Orange County Fair.

Reba McEntire will perform at the Pacific Amphitheatre on July 11,

Train will rock the stage on July 15 and Hootie & the Blowfish will

play on July 18. Tickets will go on sale Sunday at 1 p.m. The fair

will be July 9 through Aug. 1, excluding Mondays.

Online shopping at Pavilions resumes

Newport Coast’s Pavilions store will resume grocery deliveries on

Monday, store spokesman Mark Marymee said.

The deliveries were halted because of a shortage of workers during

the nearly five-month strike by United Food and Commercial Workers

union members that was resolved in late February. Customers will

again be able to shop online and have store employees select their

groceries and deliver them.

To help lure customers back, Marymee said, the Newport Coast

Pavilions will offer free delivery of orders of $100 or more through

April 11. The store’s delivery area includes Newport Beach, Costa

Mesa and Newport Coast, as well as several outlying communities. For
