give Rotary a 3-0 edge.

In the Rotary fifth, Niebuhr and Sammy Witte each drew walks,

setting the stage for Lavery’s home run.

strikeouts while giving up a single to Logan Schoembs in the fourth

inning.

Rotary.

Sports World’s Brandon Ferguson came up with the defensive play of

the game in the inning when he made a running catch of Hyden’s line

drive to centerfield.

Singles in the second inning by Rubel, Chris Lavery and Maxsenti

led to another run and a 7-0 advantage. Two outs later, Hyden doubled

home two more runs to make it 9-0.

In the fourth, Maxsenti got his second hit of the game and Rotary

loaded the bases. Hyden then finished his impressive performance and

an 11-0 lead.

The game then was halted by the mercy rule.

World and Brian Vail, Steve Contursi, Taylor Preston and Ryan Raffo

also played strong defensive games.
