An exhibition of oil, encaustic and acrylic paintings by Marsh

OUR TOWN IN

THE EARLY 1900s

“Greetings from Laguna Beach: Our Town in the Early 1900s” at the

Laguna Art Museum will feature paintings, photographs and memorabilia

that chronicle life in Laguna Beach circa 1900 to 1930. The exhibit

includes works by William Wendt, Joseph Kleitsch, Clarence Hinkle,

Edgar Payne and Anna Hills. In 1910, Laguna’s population was around

300 and many of its residents were writers, artists and musicians --

much like today. Featuring many of Laguna Beach’s landmarks, past and

present, it’s a vivid history of Laguna Beach. Laguna Art Museum is

A TASTE OF WINE

SAWDUST FESTIVAL TOUR

The Sawdust Art Festival’s Art Studio Tour lets members of the

public visit the private studios of more than 50 Laguna Beach

artists. The Art Studio Tour will provide transportation from the

Sawdust Art Festival to all studios. The tour will end with a

reception at the Sawdust Art Festival. The tour will go on from 10

a.m. to 4 p.m., and the reception will be held until 6 p.m. The

Sawdust Art Festival is at 935 Laguna Canyon Road. The cost will be

$65 for a weekend pass, or $45 for a single day pass. The price for

senior citizens purchasing a single day pass will be $40.
