Sage trio singled out

Junior Katie Puishys, sophomore Haywood Wright and sophomore Debbie

Yoder-Lee represent Sage Hill School on the girls basketball coaches’

All-Academy League selections.

Wright, an All-CIF Southern Section Division IV and first-team

all-league pick as a freshman, is joined by Puishys on the first

team. Puishys was a second-team honoree as a sophomore.

Yoder-Lee is a second-team choice after helping the Lightning

finish 10-10, 5-5 in league.

Brethren Christian’s Emily Wilson is the Most Valuable Player.

CdM’s Stern All-PCL

* Corona del Mar High senior girls basketball player Sarah Stern

has been named second-team All-Pacific Coast League by the circuit’s

coaches.

Stern, a 5-foot-3 guard, averaged 5.2 points in the nine league

games reported by the school.
