Eagles soar past Jr. Griffins in 10-5 victory

Mesa View claimed the Jr. High Division championship by defeating the

Jr. Griffins, 10-5, in the division final at Coast 2 Coast Inline

Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Goals went to Eric Morejon, Mark Miller and Troy Bosiljevac.

Miller also had an assist.

Damian Raburn finished with 21 saves.

Justin Castagna led the Jr. Griffins with three goals, Stephen

White had a goal and assist, Brad Brandenburg scored once and John

Thompson, Kevin Morrison and Jeffrey Sabraw each had an assist.

In other division finals:

Mite Division

OCB 94 4, HB Vipers 3

Kyle Martins scored two goals in the final period to wipe out a

one-goal deficit as OCB 94 rallied to win.

Martins led all scorers with three goals overall and an assist.

Cody Ferrer also scored and Mitch Robinson had an assist.

Max Olin, William Alberto and Garrett Blackwell all scored and

Tyler O’Donnell had an assist for the HB Vipers.

Pee Wee Club Division

Skeleton Crew 6, Eclipse 5

Skeleton Crew scored an overtime goal to pull out the victory.

For the Eclipse, Max Vargas scored twice and Brandon Prince and

Sean Burke also scored.

Sean Burke had two assists and Vargas, Cameren Prime and Chayce

Yokoyama each had an assist.
