“STILL LIFE”

A group exhibition titled “Still Life” will include still life

works by McCreery Jordan, Jan Magdaleno and Shirley Murray. The

gallery will also introduce work by Nancy Carroll. The exhibition

will be held through April 17 at the Esther Wells Collection, 1390 S.

LOCA ART ESCAPES

A lesson on bookbinding will be taught by Vicki Sommer.

Participants will learn how to create bookcovers and bindings. The

“DIRTY DIVAS”

The Ocean Avenue Brewery will show large-sized prints of Hollywood

personalities in “off-guard” moments. The exhibition will run through

OUR TOWN IN

THE EARLY 1900s

“Greetings from Laguna Beach: Our Town in the Early 1900s” at the

Laguna Art Museum will feature paintings, photographs and memorabilia

that chronicle life in Laguna Beach circa 1900 to 1930. The exhibit

includes works by William Wendt, Joseph Kleitsch, Clarence Hinkle,

Edgar Payne and Anna Hills. In 1910, Laguna’s population was around

300 and many of its residents were writers, artists and musicians --

much like today. Featuring many of Laguna Beach’s landmarks, past and

present, it’s a vivid history of Laguna Beach. Laguna Art Museum is

A TASTE OF WINE

Wine tasting takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. every Friday at Len’s
