Blasters clip Wings in 5-3 win

The Blasters began play in the Adams Division on a winning note as

they defeated the Wings, 5-3, at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center

in Huntington Beach.

Matthew Bodge scored three goals to lead all scorers.

Teammate Parker Andrews scored twice and Alexander Taros had an

assist.

Trevor Dilauro recorded 15 saves.

Seth Herft scored twice and McKenna Shaver had one goal for the

Wings.

In other games:

Slickshoes 4, Blackhawks 2

Adriana Concepcion scored twice to lead the Slickshoes.

Shannon Booth and Kyle Kowalski also scored and Shane Sandoval had

an assist.

Cole Redl finished with 11 saves.

Blackhawks goals were scored by Christopher Ramirez and Ian Bast.

Ryder Epson had 14 saves.

X-Men 4, Red Rhinos 1

Tanner Osterkamp poured in all four goals to power the X-Men.

Assists went to Evelyn Weaver and Jake Shaylor.

Christopher Boyd had 17 saves and limited the Red Rhinos to just

one goal, which came in the final period when Preston Yamasaki scored

off a Trent Morsk feed.

Dry Ice 1, Rockets 1

Maxwell Votaw scored an unassisted goal in the final period to

bring the Rockets into a tie with Dry Ice.

James Martin scored an unassisted first-period goal for Dry Ice.

Paul Studer had 13 saves for the Rockets and Hunter Epson had nine

saves for Dry Ice.

In Campbell Division play:

Wings 1, Dragons 0

Emmett Jaeger posted the shutout behind a 15-save effort as the

Wings shut down the Dragons.

Mad Dogs 1, Red Rhinos 1

The Mad Dogs grabbed a 1-0 lead on Jacob Pope’s first-period goal,

but the Red Rhinos earned a tie when Cody Sizemore scored unassisted

in the final period.

Sean McDaniel had 16 saves for the Mad Dogs and Sam Prizler had 20

saves for the Red Rhinos.

Hot Shots 4, Mighty Ducks 4

Jared Mohl led all scorers with three goals as the Hot Shots were

tied by the Mighty Ducks.

Sean Cullinane also scored for the Hot Shots and Jack Lowary had

16 saves.

Christopher Kao, Trevor Scott and Paul Studer scored goals, Alex

Kao had an assist and Chas Scott finished with 13 saves for the Mighty Ducks.

Bruins 2, Dyno-mites 2

Goals by Cameron Platzman and Amanda Morales gave the Bruins a 2-0

lead, but scores by Travis Hunter and Luke Winstead helped rally the

Dyno-mites to a tie.

Kevin Romano recorded 20 saves for the Bruins and Madison Clark

had 18 saves for the Dyno-mites.
