Coldwell Banker 7 Quiksilver 6

Coldwell Banker rallied late to pull past Quiksilver.

Quiksilver started strong behind the pitching of Derek Reigel, who

pitched three shutout innings.

Behind the hitting of Norty Penny, Connor Hyland and Reigel,

Quiksilver built an early 2-0 lead. In the top of the fourth, they

scored once again, getting an RBI single from Reigel. In the fifth,

Quiksilver build its lead to 6-0 behind singles by Michael Kimball,

Zach Jaffe, Johnny Gavin -- who went two for two -- and Evan

Steinhoff, plus a walk to Chase Cornell.

Coldwell Banker, shutout through four innings, rallied in the

bottom of the fifth behind consecutive singles by Jase Swinden,

Brogan O’Bryan and Calvin Garmshausen, and a two-out walk to Ryan

Cavanaugh to push across two runs.

With bases loaded and two out, lead-off hitter Riley Lozano lined

a grand slam down the right field line into the corner to pull

Coldwell Banker to within 6-5.

In the bottom of the sixth, Jack Winn singled and later scored to

tie the game. Matthew Neev drew a walk, advanced to third with one

out and stole home, sliding under the tag of Josh Gillette, to

complete Coldwell Banker’s comeback.

Coldwell Banker 9 First Team Nolan 1

Coldwell Banker pitchers Brandon Lewis, Matthew Neev, and Larry

Stewart pitched a combined no-hitter in a wire-to-wire victory over

First Team Nolan.

Larry Stewart and Duross O’Bryan each had an RBI single in the

opening inning to give Coldwell Banker a quick, 2-0 lead.

O’Bryan would later triple to the centerfield fence, only to be

left stranded in the fourth.

Brandon Lewis pitched two innings of no-hit, shutout ball to keep

First Team Nolan at bay.

Coldwell Banker added another run in the second inning, then

scored four runs in the third. Matthew Neev, Larry Stewart, Jase

Swinden, and Brandon Lewis all walked, and Drew Kanner’s hard hit

double to the outfield brought in three of the runs, putting Coldwell

Banker up, 7-0.

Remington Zona’s walk and two stolen bases, and Cameron Hauer’s

RBI, led to First Team Nolan’s only run.
