Daniel Edwin Barber

Daniel Edwin Barber of Laguna Beach died April 23 after a long

battle with colon cancer. He was 62.

The self-employed contractor’s enjoyment of life was contagious

and he had the generous ability to share his talents, wit and gentle

kindness, family members said.

He was fiercely proud and deeply loved his wife, son and all of

his many family members.

Mr. Barber is survived by wife Connie; son Daniel; daughters Tanya

and Dawn Rainbow; step-children Shauna and Michael; sisters Kathy,

Sally and Kimberly; brothers Larry Shepherd and Mike, Pat and John

Barber; parents Charles and Lucille Shepherd; and five grandchildren.

Services will be held at Aliso Beach from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 2.
