composition called “Elements,” a modern dance show featuring

LOCA ART ESCAPES

OUR TOWN IN

THE EARLY 1900s

“Greetings from Laguna Beach: Our Town in the Early 1900s” at the

Laguna Art Museum will feature paintings, photographs and memorabilia

that chronicle life in Laguna Beach circa 1900 to 1930. The exhibit

includes works by William Wendt, Joseph Kleitsch, Clarence Hinkle,

Edgar Payne and Anna Hills. In 1910, Laguna’s population was around

300 and many of its residents were writers, artists and musicians --

much like today. Featuring many of Laguna Beach’s landmarks, past and

present, it’s a vivid history of Laguna Beach. Laguna Art Museum is

A TASTE OF WINE

DANCE FESTIVAL

The California Choreographers Dance Festival will host Spring

Dance Day. Dance classes will be offered, to be followed by an open

air dance concert featuring new works by choreographers Donna

The 31st annual Village Laguna Charm House Tour will feature five

of north Laguna Beach homes. Houses will include a 1922 Dutch

colonial with gardens and fountains, an oceanfront Craftsman and a

1921 Craftsman cottage. The event will begin at noon, and homes will

be closed for viewing at 5:30 p.m. Chartered city trams will pick

guests us from the Festival of Arts grounds throughout the day. The
