A Newport Beach De Anza trailer park...

A Newport Beach De Anza trailer park senior and an East Bluff senior

have moved to care facilities, leaving visiting family members to

deal with placing their family pets. In addition, we just received

notice of the passing of a 79-year-old Lido Peninsula woman whose

2-year-old black and white cat named Timothy is being cared for in an

empty home and will need our help.

The East Bluff resident leaves two 9-year-old, 25-pound Main Coons

named Ashley and Bro. They are living in the condo alone until we can

find them a new home. The family of the De Anza trailer park senior

is staying for a month to help with family matters, and discovered an

outdoor feeding station set up for nearly a year to feed a pretty

Himalayan they call Charlotte. The neighbors say they all liked the

cat, but no one was willing to bring her in despite her interest in

being indoors. Community Animal Network believes the animal deserves

the security of a home and a family she can call her own.

Families desiring help placing cats need to be aware that not all

animal groups and people involved with animals are pro-life.

Reputable animal adoption groups know that getting good homes for

animals is a lot of work, no matter how old the animal is.

Giving up family pets is something to research carefully. See a

list of reputable groups on https://www.animalnetwork. org.
