Tickets go on sale Saturday for performances by comedian Bill

Cosby and musical acts the Newsboys and Audio Adrenaline, who will

appear as part of the Pacific Amphitheater’s 2004 summer concert

series. The Grammy-nominated group Audio Adrenaline will perform its

mix of rock, rap and funk in a concert with Christian rockers the

Newsboys on July 21. Cosby will share his humorous social insights on

July 22. Tickets can be purchased beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday by

Pacific Amphitheater is at the Orange County Fairgrounds, 88 Fair

Drive, Costa Mesa.

This year’s Youth Expo squeezed out a success

More than 25,000 students and their families turned out for Youth

Expo 2004, held at the Orange County Fair & Exposition Center over

the weekend.

This year the annual event celebrated grapes as well as people and

events that have made positive contributions to the world. Also at

the event were a science and engineering fair, jazz festival, petting

zoo and talent search. More than 10,000 children from Orange County

schools visited the event Friday, and local Girl Scouts and 4-H clubs

hosted activities and brought animals for the event.
