‘ELEMENTS’

The Laguna Beach High School Dance Company will perform its latest

composition entitled “Elements,” a modern dance show featuring

interpretations to earth, wind, water and fire. The show will begin

at 7:30 p.m. and will be performed at the Artists’ Theatre at 625

Park Ave. Tickets will cost $15 for reserved seats, $10 for general

‘FRESH FACES’

Work by artists who will debut at the Festival of Arts this summer

will be on display at Wells Fargo Bank. The art will be on display

LOCA ART ESCAPES

Artist Sherry Bullard will lead a hands-on workshop on tile

decorating. The workshop will begin at 2 p.m. at the Pottery Shack,

at 1212 S. Coast Highway. There will be a $30 materials fee.

‘DIRTY DIVAS’

The Ocean Avenue Brewery will show large-sized prints of Hollywood

personalities in “off-guard” moments. The exhibition will run through

June 1 in the Big Gallery at the Ocean Avenue Brewery, at 237 Ocean

OUR TOWN IN

THE EARLY 1900s

“Greetings from Laguna Beach: Our Town in the Early 1900s” at the

Laguna Art Museum will feature paintings, photographs and memorabilia

that chronicle life in Laguna Beach circa 1900 to 1930. The exhibit

includes works by William Wendt, Joseph Kleitsch, Clarence Hinkle,

Edgar Payne and Anna Hills. In 1910, Laguna’s population was around

300 and many of its residents were writers, artists and musicians --

much like today. Featuring many of Laguna Beach’s landmarks, past and

present, it’s a vivid history of Laguna Beach. Laguna Art Museum is

A TASTE OF WINE

Wine tasting takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. every Friday at Len’s

Wine Cite. Different wines will be sampled each week. Len’s is at 303

SATURDAY

IMAGINATION CELEBRATION

The Festival of Arts artists will host hands-on workshops.

Activities will include, wire sculpture, hand coloring photography,

watercolors, chalk drawing, soft sculpture and jewelry making. There

will also be children’s dance classes. The Laguna Art Museum will

hold another event as part of the celebration. Free tram service will

be provided between both locations. Activities at the Festival of

Arts will be held from noon to 4 p.m. and events at the museum will

be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Festival of Arts is at 650 Laguna

Canyon Rd. and the Laguna Art Museum is at 307 Cliff Dr. Admission at

LATIN JAZZ AND DANCING

Romeo Cucina will feature Latin jazz and dancing with Ivan

Marcello and his band. The music will begin at 8 p.m. Saturdays.

THE LAGUNA CRAFT GUILD

will present an Arts and Crafts Show. The event will be held from
