The Orange County Coastkeeper is looking for volunteers as the

organization expands the number of creek sites it monitors in the

Huntington Beach area. A training session is scheduled for May 15.

The Huntington Beach Art Center will exhibit artwork for its

fourth annual Benefit Art Auction and Benefit. Artwork will be

exhibited until the May 14 auction. The events will be held at the

Huntington Beach Art Center, 538 Main St. Tickets to the reception

will cost $30. A sponsor admission, including a $50 credit to any

purchase, will be available for $75. Art center members will receive
