Originally from Boden, Sweden, he is beginning his final year of

eligibility and has had a successful season since his Vanguard track

and field debut in 2002. He placed ninth in GSAC meet and 20th at the

regionals, was named All-GSAC runner and recorded a best 8-kilometer

time of 26 minutes, 4 seconds. He transferred to Vanguard last fall

from NCAA Division I Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La.,

where he was one of the top runners during his two years there. He

could break the 26-minute mark in the 8K this fall and should be one

of Vanguard’s top three runners as well as a top GSAC contender. He

is studying business administration and chose Vanguard for the good

athletic and educational programs provided.
