Code Red wins title

Rene Mycorn and Elizabeth Cramer captured their second straight

Pacific Coast Girls Fastpitch under-12 championship by leading the

Code Red to back-to-back wins over the Sluggers May 14-15 at Bonita

Creek Park.

Mycorn did not allow a run over four innings in the first game, a

5-1 victory, and gave up two runs in five innings in the 6-2

championship game. Jackie Graham gave up one run over four combined

innings in both games.

Cramer went 5 for 6 in both games while playing strong games as

catcher. Caila Chirichigno tallied three RBIs on a 3 for 3

performance in the first game. Brittany Martinez went 2 for 3 with a

double and Kadee Malone hit a triple in the first game.

Hanalynn Hunt, Hannah Gullick, Maddy Mains, Jenny McCarthy and

Helen Ray contributed to the offensive and defensive play for Code

Red.
