block at 11:56 a.m. Sunday.

* Adams Avenue: A red Ford Ranger was reported stolen in the 10000

block at 6:40 p.m. Saturday.

* Beach Boulevard: Identity theft was reported when a man told

police someone used his personal information to open credit accounts

in the 17400 block at 5:41 p.m. Thursday.

* Beach Boulevard: A person reported four people burglarized a

convenience store and escaped in a BMW with a covered license plate

in the 20300 block at 10:55 a.m. Friday.

* Beach Boulevard and Edinger Avenue: A motorist reported the

driver of a blue Honda Accord hit two vehicles and attempted to flee

via the San Diego Freeway but missed the onramp and drove into a

ditch at 2:08 a.m. Sunday.

* Beach Boulevard and Slater Avenue: The drivers of two Hondas

were reportedly racing at 10:07 p.m. Friday.

* Birchwood Drive: A resident reported a neighbor’s SUV and truck

had been vandalized, and that trash, bleach and ketchup bottles had

been left in the neighbor’s yard in the 10100 block at 1:05 p.m.

* Brookhurst Street: Speaker boxes and a bowling bag were reported

stolen out of a purple Honda Civic in the 21600 block at 6:45 a.m.

* Clay Avenue: A man reported golf clubs valued at $600 were

stolen out of his car in the 7300 block at 12:33 p.m. Friday.

* Engineer Drive: A man reported a co-worker had been threatening

him over the past couple of days and once threw a knife on the ground

in the 5800 block at 1:06 a.m. Saturday.

* Evergreen Circle: A boy was reportedly beaten up by his friends

in the 1700 block at 9:10 p.m. Friday.

* Goldenwest Street: A woman reported $1,200 had been stolen from

her wallet in the 15700 block at 6:56 p.m. Saturday.

* Gothic Drive: A woman reported her 10-year-old son and his

friend were shot with airsoft guns by two men passing in a white

pickup truck in the 20000 block at 6:45 p.m. Friday.

* Harold Drive: A man reported his neighbor intentionally soaked

his dog with a hose in the 5700 block at 6:20 p.m. Saturday.

* Heil Avenue: Two men were reportedly fist-fighting in the 4500

block at 12:47 a.m. Sunday.

* Hendrickson Drive: A woman reported that white powder was all

over her yard, porch, garage and car in the 5200 block at 9:09 a.m.

Saturday.

* Jasmine Drive: A woman reported a man was ripping off tree

branches and beating on her son’s vehicle in the 6400 block at 4:57

a.m. Saturday.

* Newland Street and Talbert Avenue: Fountain Valley police passed

on a report that a driver pointed a gun at a child on a scooter at

12:47 p.m. Friday.

* Norma Drive: A mother reported her son was truant from school

after he called her and asked to be picked up from Murdy Park in the

7000 block at 10:05 a.m. Friday.

* Olive Avenue: A woman reported her husband’s motorcycle stolen

in the 1400 block at 3:27 p.m. Sunday.

* Pacific Coast Highway and 17th Street: An injury accident was

reported at 1:03 p.m. Friday.

* Pacific Coast Highway and Brookhurst Street: A man reported

minibike riders almost ran him and his son over at 1:04 p.m. Sunday.

* Pacific Coast Highway and Newland Street: Three boys were

reportedly shooting at street lights with BB guns at 8:32 p.m.

* Pacific Coast Highway and 9th Street: A bicycle valued at $1,400

was reported stolen out of a pickup truck by someone who dismantled

the tailgate at 9:43 a.m. Thursday.

* Pier: Two people were reportedly having sex on the beach at

* Pier: A man reported his cellphone was missing after it fell

into the ocean because he bent over the rail to reel in a fish he
