Pop Warner Football signups on Saturday

Huntington Beach Pop Warner Football will hold its final signup

session for players and cheerleaders for its 2004 season on Sunday

from noon to 4:00 p.m. at Edison High.

The school is located at 21400 Magnolia Ave.

The program is open to children ages 5 to 15. Pop Warner has no

tryouts and everybody plays. Discounts are available at the signup

session.

Locals to play in prep All-Star game

Victoria Batistelli and Holly Jackson of Huntington Beach High

will play for the South when it takes on the North on Monday in the

2004 Orange County All-Star High School Softball Game.

The game will be played at Cal State Fullerton. First pitch is at

6:30 p.m.

Batistelli and Jackson, both seniors, are part of the 15-member

South squad coached by Joe Miller of Aliso Niguel.

The game is sponsored by Soroptimist International of Brea/La

Habra.
