* Canyon Acres Drive: A radio valued at $200 was reported stolen

during the night from an unlocked, parked vehicle at 9:34 a.m.

MONDAY

* La Mirada: A resident returned from vacation to find that

someone had dumped gasoline on a eucalyptus tree on her property. The

report is part of an ongoing neighborhood dispute. Reported at 1:36

p.m.

SUNDAY

* Paseo de Lago East: A rattlesnake near a resident’s door was

taken into custody at 4:23 p.m.

* Shaw’s Cove: A Ventura man was cited for failing to obey a

lifeguard’s order to stay out of the water without a dive partner at

3:56 p.m.

* Coast Highway: A purse and contents valued at $265 were reported

stolen from an unlocked parked vehicle at Aliso Creek Golf Course at

12:23 p.m.

* Alta Laguna Park: A bobcat or a mountain lion was reported seen

at the end of the West Ridge Trail near the playground at 6:53 a.m.

SATURDAY

* Cliff Drive: A driver stopped by police for not wearing a seat

belt was taken to Harbor Court for arraignment after he was arrested

for an outstanding $20,000 warrant for narcotics possession, driving

without a license and not wearing a seat belt at 9:26 a.m.

FRIDAY

* Police Department: Phone lines were down, ringing busy and

Verizon was called to the scene at 10:54 p.m.
