There will be a paddle out today at 7 a.m. at Aliso Beach to honor
Max Sadler and Mark Tiner.
The teenagers died over Memorial Day weekend in a car accident.
Meeting to focus on remodeling
The Laguna Beach Business Club will host general contractor Steve
Donner to discuss “Remodeling the Laguna Charmer.”
His discussion will cover how to get the projects through city
procedures, heritage considerations, single wall construction,
plumbing, electrical and heating systems, kitchens and baths and a
job site visit. The 7:30 a.m. discussion will be at Citizens Business

Shiny new Bluebird Park rededicated
There will be a rededication of Bluebird Park from 10 a.m. To 1
p.m. Saturday.
The park’s play equipment, picnic areas, restrooms and landscaping
have been renovated.
The Community Concert Band will perform beginning at 10 a.m.
The park is at 1470 Temple Terrace at the corner of Cress Street
and Bluebird Canyon Drive.
Laguna library will hold book sale
The Friends of the Laguna Beach Library will hold a sale featuring
a collection of Wilkie Collins, Encyclopedia Britannica, several
cookbooks and taped university lectures.
The sale will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday and
Wednesday and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday Friday and
Saturday. The sale will be at the Friends of the Library Bookshop,
