The Huntington Beach Council on Aging will host an afternoon party

to kick off summer and celebrate the nation pastime: baseball.

Entertainment is provided, and gift baskets and tickets to an Angels

game will be available to win. The event will take place at 1 p.m. at

The Hyatt Resort will host a day-long celebration to showcase a

The Central Library Children’s Reading Festival, an annual event

that will include character storybook creatures in costume, game and

food booths, balloons, live musical entertainment and the launch of
