the 93rd California Golf Association Amateur Championship after the

first two rounds Monday and Tuesday at the Poppy Hills Golf Club in

into the first and second rounds of the match-play portion of the

championship, which begins Thursday at Pebble Beach.

Two rounds each will be played Thursday and Friday with the

scheduled 36-hole final match to be held Saturday.

after the first two rounds of stroke play. Five players sit at 142,

including 20-year old Spencer Levin, who tied for 13th at the U.S.

Open.

Chopra, from Newport Coast, also competed in the event.

Dubois was also part of the South team that faced the North squad

in the North-South team competition during the first two days of

stroke play. The North prevailed, 730-733.

The best five of six scores for each team counted each day in team

competition.
