Edison High hosts wrestling camp for youth

The Edison High wrestling program currently is hosting a camp for

incoming freshmen for the 2004-05 school year.

The technique camp will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Monday and

Wednesday, through July 30.

Edison is the defending Sunset League champion and finished second

overall in CIF team competition.

Basketball camp continues at Marina

A basketball camp for local youngsters is running at Marina High

through July 15.

The camp is open to all students grades three through eight in the

2004-05 school year.

Instruction will take place between 8:30 and 10 a.m., Monday

through Thursday.

Football camp for youth set for Edison

Nike/West Football Camp is conducting its annual Fundamental

Football Camp at Edison High from July 19 to 22 at Edison High.

The cost per camper is $175 and includes a Nike dri-fit shirt.

The camp is staffed by former NFL players at each position and

both Pop Warner Football and Jr. All-American Football players are

encouraged to register.
