Erin Thompson graduated cum laude from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree

in business economics. She was also a member Phi Beta Kappa. . She is

a 2000 graduate of Huntington Beach High School and the daughter of

Jill and Chuck Thompson. ... Twenty graduates from Edison High School

and Huntington Beach High School were recognized by AIM Mail Center

with a Huntington Beach Business Community Academic Achievement

Award. These students were selected from their 2004 senior class by

their teachers, and were required to maintain at least a 3.5 GPA and

employment of at least 10 hours a week. The award winners from Edison

High School were Gary Chou, Justin Jarjour, Danielle Leone, Robert

Lund, Ryan Malawy, Trigere Popoff, Kyle Stephens, Alanna Zimmerman,

Natalie Zimmerman and Samantha Zimmerman. Veronica Aragon, Brittany

Guest, Ryan Hartsfield, Ashley Hicks, Ryan Holcomb, Joel Kaluzny,

Brandon Mendez, Stephen Miller, Andrea Schiavoni and Jessica Worthy

all graduated from Huntington Beach High School. The awards luncheon

was on June 16 at Meadowlark Country Club.
