Big summer camp slated

Newport Harbor High baseball coach Joel Desguin and Orange Coast

College head man John Altobelli are presenting the 2004 Summer

Baseball Camp at Newport Harbor High.

The camp, for players ages 5-14, runs Mondays through Fridays from

9 a.m. to noon. The first session was completed Friday. The second

session is Monday through Friday and the third session runs July

26-30.

Campers hoping to take their game to the next level will receive

instruction in throwing, catching and hitting, as well as strategies

of the game.

Snacks will be provided, but campers are asked to bring their own

ample supply of water.

The fees are $150 for NHBA members and $165 for nonmembers.
