Laguna’s 9/10 All-Stars fall to Rancho Mission Viejo
The Laguna Beach Little League 9/10 All-Star team was eliminated
Wednesday from the District 55 All-Star Tournament by Rancho Mission
Viejo, which posted a 5-3 victory at Heroes Park in El Toro.
Laguna had opened the tournament Saturday against defending
champion Aliso Niguel.
Aliso Niguel showed that it doesn’t intend to give up its district
crown, as it rolled to a 12-0 victory, which sent Laguna into the
“Second Chance” half of the bracket.
The double elimination tournament runs through July 14.
Laguna Beach’s 9/10 All-Star team was composed of Grifan Fair,
Blake Hester, Austin Hilleman, Alex Iannotti, Cole Kessler, Brandon
