Thomas C. Stadfelt, son of Wei Z. and Richard C. Stadfelt of

Huntington Beach recently, participated in the U.S. Naval Academy’s

week-long summer seminar program in Annapolis, Md. Stadfelt, who

attends Edison High School, was introduced to aspects of academy life

including academics, sports, sailing, leadership training and social

activities ... Coast Guard Seaman Wesley N. Lindsey recently

graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape

May, N.J. During eight weeks of training, Lindsey was taught water

safety and survival, seamanship skills, first aid, firefighting and

marksmanship. He is the son of Huntington Beach residents Suzanne and

Clayton E. Lindsey ... Army Pfc. Jeffrey C. Workman recently arrived

at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Aberdeen, Md., to receive advanced

mechanics training to repair wheeled vehicles. Workman, a 2003

Huntington Beach High School graduate, is the son of Dawn L.W. and

stepson of Darryl W. Orr of Huntington Beach ... Edison High School

honored football player Matt White and soccer player Amanda Draeger

as its Athletes of the Year. During the ceremony, Athletic Director

Bruce Belcher presented the awards and read their teacher’s comments

from kindergarten through high school graduation. Both recipients

showed leadership and exemplary conduct. ... Michelle Ajemian and

John Impelman graduated from Ocean View High School on June 16, Tracy

Coleman graduated from Huntington Beach High School on June 17, and

Heidi Marcz graduated from Coast High School on June 17.
