MONDAY * Broadway: A parking attendant reportedly...

MONDAY

* Broadway: A parking attendant reportedly threatened a woman with

a cane as she tried to park in the 200 block at 3:10 p.m.

* Cliff Drive and Rosa Bonheur Drive: A person reported being

almost run over after the driver of a green Chevy Suburban sped

through a stop sign at 6:25 p.m.

* Diamond Street: A German shepherd mix reportedly chased a couple

down the street in the 800 block at 1:26 p.m.

* Main Beach: Two men were reported fighting near the portable

toilets in the 100 block at 7:47 p.m.

* Sleepy Hollow Lane: Police received a report that two boys stole

an electric go-cart in the 600 block at 4:53 p.m. The go-cart was

later found at the corner of Catalina Street and El Bosque.

* South Coast Highway: A traffic hazard was reported when police

received a call that a man was sitting in the middle of the road in

the 30800 block at 2:46 a.m.

* Table Rock Beach: A Laguna Niguel boy was arrested on suspicion

of possessing alcohol and tobacco in the 31500 block at 10:43 p.m.

SUNDAY

* Blue Lagoon: A man reported that he was hit in the chest by

someone who came to a pool area and started yelling at him in the 20

block at 3:03 p.m. The alleged assailant was reportedly involved in a

dispute over the reporting party’s friend’s driving.

* Broadway and North Coast Highway: Four men were reportedly

running naked up North Coast Highway from Main Beach at 9:47 p.m.

* Broadway and South Coast Highway: A person was reportedly trying

to run over a portable toilet with a bicycle at 10:32 p.m.

* Cliff Drive: Indecent exposure was reported in the 200 block at

9:13 p.m.

* Gaviota Drive: A woman reported that her neighbor used an

explosive to blow up a block of dry ice in the 700 block at 10:12

a.m. She told police the very loud explosion caused rock-sized debris

to fall all over her car.

* Laguna Canyon Road: A Laguna Hills man was cited on suspicion of

indecent exposure after police received a report that two men were

dancing naked in the street in the 2500 block at 5:13 p.m.

* Laguna Canyon Road and Canyon Acres Drive: A person in a dark

green Ford Mustang reportedly threw fireworks out the window at 10:16

p.m.

* Oak Street: A Laguna Hills man was arrested on suspicion of

public intoxication after he reportedly trespassed into a building,

vomited and exited the building in the 200 block at 5:32 a.m.

* South Coast Highway: A man was arrested on suspicion of

possession of cocaine after a traffic stop in the 100 block at 8:31

a.m. The driver was also cited on suspicion of driving without a

license.

* South Coast Highway and Mountain Road: An injury traffic

collision was reported at 8:58 p.m.

SATURDAY

* Cleo Street: A person reported that a digital camera was stolen

while the reporting party waited in line at a grocery store in the

200 block at 7:29 p.m. A suspect was later arrested, and the camera

was recovered.

* Glenneyre Street: A man reported that a man he knows tried to

steal a purse from a woman in the 300 block at 4:28 p.m.

* Los Olivos: A woman reported that two bullets had been fired

into her windshield overnight in the 300 block at 1:03 p.m.

* Ocean Way: A navy blue Mazda was reported stolen in the 2100

block at 4:31 a.m.

FRIDAY

* Cress Street: A Whittier woman was arrested on warrants for

petty theft and being under the influence of drugs in the 1300 block

at 6:27 a.m. A Corona woman was arrested on warrants for petty theft

and forgery.

* Ocean Front: A man was reportedly stealing lumber from a

construction site in the 1200 block at 7:51 p.m.

* South Coast Highway: A man was reportedly yelling at restaurant

employees after he fell out of a chair in the 900 block at 4:10 p.m.

He reportedly tried to take the chair from the restaurant.
