JULY 15-AUG. 1: The Republican Party of Orange County will have a

voter registration booth at the Orange County Fair.

SATURDAY: Sen. John Edwards, the Democratic vice-presidential

candidate, will appear at a noon lunch at the Balboa Bay Club &

Resort. The cost is $1,000 per person or $2,000 for preferred

seating. The Bay Club is at 1221 West Coast Highway in Newport Beach.

MONDAY: The Republican Party of Orange County Central Committee

will hold a general meeting at 6 p.m. at the South Coast Plaza Westin

Hotel at 686 Anton Blvd., Costa Mesa. Usually a meeting is not held

in July. Admission is free, and all Republicans are welcome.
