* Glenneyre Street: Police received a report that a man had been

drinking 24 beers a day for 47 days in the 300 block at 12:27 p.m.

MONDAY

* El Toro Road and Laguna Canyon Road: An injury traffic collision

was reported at 5:53 p.m.

* Moss Street: Tools were reported stolen out of a locker at a

house that was under construction over the weekend in the 300 block

at 10:34 a.m.

* South Coast Highway: A man reported three people stole files

from his law office in the 32300 block at 4:19 p.m.

SUNDAY

* Catalina Street and Oak Street: A robbery at knifepoint was

reported at 10:28 p.m.

* Monterey Drive: A Long Beach man was arrested on suspicion of

driving under the influence and resisting a peace officer in the 200

block at 7:02 p.m.

* Shaws Cove: A man was cited on suspicion of contributing to the

delinquency of a minor in the 1000 block at 10:28 p.m. A minor was

cited on suspicion of possession of alcohol.

* Vista del Sol: A San Clemente man was arrested on suspicion of

driving under the influence after police received a report he was

smoking marijuana in a truck in the 50 block at 10:38 a.m.

SATURDAY

* Cliff Drive: A man was arrested on suspicion of providing false

information to a police officer in the 300 block at 2:18 a.m. He was

detained after police caught him after chasing three men in response

to a call that people were having sex on a picnic bench.

* Laguna Canyon Road: A man reportedly claimed to be a police

officer while attempting to get his car out of an impound lot in the

2500 block at 10:33 p.m.

* La Senda Drive: A portable DVD player was reported stolen out of

a car in the 70 block at 10:43 a.m.

FRIDAY

* Cliff Drive: Property worth $700 was reported stolen out of a

car overnight in the 300 block at 8:25 p.m.

* Glenneyre Street: An injury traffic collision was reported in

the 1800 block at 4:58 p.m.
