Local restaurant gets website nod

ReNato Ristorante, an Italian eatery in Newport Beach, announced

last week it was named one of the top 200 places to dine in Orange

County by OC Spots, an entertainment information website.

The restaurant reopened Friday after a brief renovation and serves

lunch and dinner seven days a week.

Firm completes $19-million deal

CT Realty Corp., a Newport Beach firm, recently announced it has

sold a 130-unit gated apartment development in Orange for $19

million.

The Strada Apartments were sold to the Rudy Mariman Trust of

Newport Beach. Before the sale, CT Realty invested $1 million to

renovate the development, which is 95% occupied. The deal was

brokered by Hendricks & Partners of Newport Beach for CT Realty, a

10-year-old firm that invests in industrial, retail, office and

multi-family housing properties.

New stores to

pop up at malls

Fashion Island shopping center in Newport Beach has announced it

will add seven new stores by the holiday season, five of which will

be the first of their kind in Orange County.

The new stores will include Lululemon Athletica, an athletic

clothing store; Jules Allen and chloe & jack b., which sell adults’

and children’s apparel; Oliviers & Co., a specialty and gourmet food

shop; Lola Rouge, a women’s clothing and accessories retailer; teen

fashion store Hollister Co.; and personalized jewelry store Yours

Only.

Five new stores are scheduled to open by this fall at South Coast

Plaza. New tenants at the Costa Mesa center will be women’s apparel

shop Agnona; Brooks Brothers, selling men’s and women’s clothes;

sports product store Nikewomen; the Orange Lounge, a digital and

video art space operated by the Orange County Museum of Art; and a

new Ralph Lauren clothing store.
