Red Rhinos use last spurt to down Jokers

The Red Rhinos broke away from a tie by outscoring the Jokers 7-0 in

the final period en route to a 9-2 Adams Division victory at Coast 2

Coast Hockey in Huntington Beach.

Trenton Morsk scored three goals and added a pair of assists and

Jarrett Strickler posted three goals to lead the Red Rhinos on

offense. Jack Shearer scored twice with an assist, Preston Yamasaki

scored once and Shane Sandoval had an assist.

Chas Sasaki had 14 saves to get the win.

Alexander Taros scored both goals for the Jokers and Scott Webb

recorded 34 saves.

Kings 6, Rockets 1

Benjamin Jaeger scored three goals to lead the Kings.

Jake Shaylor had a goal and an assist and Gerson Galdamez and

Hector Tepayotl each scored once.

Brandon Wade scored off an assist by Evan Gray for the Rockets.

Wings 3, Rink Rats 1

The Wings outscored the Rink Rats 2-0 over the final two periods

to pull away.

Kaylene Hoffman scored twice and Drew Truxaw scored once to

complete the Wings’ scoring.

Ashton McKeown scored unassisted for the Rink Rats.

Dyno-Mites 4, Mini Giants 3

Matthew Bodge scored the Dyno-Mites’ final three goals as they

edged the Mini Giants.

Bodge also assisted the Dyno-Mites’ first goal, a first period

score by William Huffman. Trevor Dilauro had 8 assists in the

victory.

Riley Dix scored twice, Kristen Schaefer scored once and Jonathan

Cooper had 18 saves for the Mini Giants.
