Sargent exhibits reverse overlap putting grip

This is the most common type of putting grip, though each golfer has

his or her preference.

Palms oppose each other and the left index finger extends along

the knuckles of the right hand. Thumbs should point down the shaft.

Stance should be square to slightly open and eyes should be

focused in the center or just inside of the ball.

Knees should be flexed comfortably and weight should be stationed

a little on the left side. Keep wrists stationary throughout the

swing. Take the putter back slightly inside and accelerate through

the ball, swinging end to end in a natural arc.
