* Steve Collins (senior champion) -- Won Big Canyon Country Club’s

men’s club championship five times, including titles in 1989 and

again in ’99. Played one year of golf for Stanford and competed in

the United States Amateur at Shoal Creek Golf & Country Club in

Birmingham, Ala.

* Sally Holstein (ladies champion) -- Has claimed last two Big

Canyon ladies championships -- she has won three titles since

becoming a member there in 1983. Holstein will participate in each of

the four private club ladies member/guest tournaments in Newport-Mesa

this year.

* Will Tipton (men’s champion) -- Played as a freshman on USC

men’s golf team that won the Pac-10 title in 1985. Missed the cut to

enter match play by one stroke in his only U.S. Amateur appearance in

1988. Began entering golf tournaments at age 7.

* Bob Lovejoy (Director of Golf) -- Has teamed with three

different partners to win the last three Jones Cup championships.
