Diablos bedevil Renegades

Cole Thormodsgaard and Joel Dapello each netted three goals to power

the Diablos past their Wales Division rivals, the Renegades 7-3 at

Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Each also broke into the assist column, finishing with a pair of

assists. Casey Childers also scored and Ben Piontkowski had an

assist.

Timothy Francis recorded 22 saves in goal for the Diablos.

In other Wales Division matches:

Predators 6, Thunder 2

Andrew Skowron scored three goals and assisted on two other scores

to lead the Predators.

Stephen Tockey had a goal and an assist, William Richards had a

goal and Dean Neugebauer and Justin Bracamontes each had an assist.

Cameron Nagai finished with 14 saves to get the win.

Matthew Janssen and Evan Zinger scored, Timothy Hunt had an assist

and Brad Brandenburg came up with 11 saves for the Thunder.

Avalanche 5, Blind 4

Jim Martin scored the first three goals for the Avalanche and Kyle

Day scored the final two in the one goal victory.

Zachary Beko had 14 saves for the Avalanche.

Christopher Nagle led the Blind with two goals, Kyle Schneider and

Sean Wing each scored once and Kevin Cant had an assist. Eric Grant

had eight saves.

Phantoms 4, Extreme 3

Kyle Evans, Justin Pederson and Chad Hampton scored goals for the

Phantoms.

Alec Schartner had a pair of assists and Hampton had one assist.

Brandon Kinney had nine saves to pick up the victory.

Kyle Betz and Chris Eaton scored for the Extreme and Eaton and

Craig Landon each had an assist. Aaron Nguyen finished with 13 saves.

Blue Crew 6, Badgers 4

Jeffrey Wong and Bryan Marony each scored twice to lead the Blue

Crew.

Johnny French and Ryan Gallegos each scored once. Gallegos and

Billy Borrmann each had a pair of assists and Marony and French each

had one.

Austin Heinz scored twice for the Badgers. Nick Evans and Robert

Oliver each scored once and Ryan Harrison, Hunter Nelson, C.J.

Dinolfi and Trevor Evans each had an assist.

Zackery Porter recorded 11 saves for the Badgers.

In Campbell Division action:

Dyno-mites 5, Rink Raiders 3

Travis Williams posted three goals and assisted a fourth to lead

the Dyno-mites. Jeremy Williams scored once with an assist and

Matthew Chism scored a goal.

Cody Sizemore scored twice and Brandon Sizemore once for the Rink

Raiders.
