Magnolia Louise Meekma

Rebecca and David Meekma are pleased to announce the birth of

their second daughter Magnolia Louise.

Maggie was born at 8:13 a.m. on Aug. 18 at South Coast Medical

Center in South Laguna. She weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and measured

20 inches.

The baby is named after her maternal great-grandfather, maternal

great-great grandfather and paternal great-uncle, as well as one of

her mom’s favorite songs, “Sugar Magnolia.” Older daughter Isabel is

thrilled to be a big sister.

Rebecca is on leave from her position as Community and Media

Relations Manager of the Sawdust Festival, and David is the owner of

Ideal Home Inspections of Laguna Beach.
