Beautiful Rosie was born cross-eyed. She is the sister of two

torti tabby kittens that have successfully completed two eyelid

reconstruction surgeries to correct their eyelid agenesis (incomplete

eyelid formation), which could have caused blindness. Donations are

being accepted and are still needed to conclude payment for their

second surgery.

The Eye Clinic for Animals has examined Rosie’s crossed eyes.

There is no reason her crossed eyes should affect her negatively in

life. No surgery or correction is needed. Rosie’s caregiver, Janet

Bloomquist, says her being cross-eyed just makes her that much more

special. Bloomquist says Rosie is extremely affectionate, and she

would love to adopt her, but her resident cats dislike sharing her

attention with the foster cats.
