* Park Avenue: A homeless man was reported on a resident’s roof in

the 400 block at 2:34 a.m.

* South Coast Highway: A traffic hazard was reported when police

were told a man was sitting in the middle of the street in the 600

block at 2:55 a.m.

TUESDAY

* Cliff Drive and Jasmine Street: A fight was reported at 9:44

a.m.

* High Drive: A man wearing dark glasses and a straw hat

reportedly looked in a resident’s window and yelled things that did

not make sense in the 700 block at 6:59 p.m.

* Oak Street and South Coast Highway: A man reportedly spat on

campaign posters at 8:32 a.m.

* Ramona Avenue: Credit card fraud in the amount of $1,759.89 was

reported in the 600 block at 1:49 p.m.

* Scenic Drive: Briefcases and cellular phones were reported

stolen in the 31600 block at 6:33 a.m.

* Temple Hills Drive: Several residents reportedly lost phone

service after a truck reportedly collided with a utility box in the

1600 block at 8:32 p.m. A witness told police the driver of the truck

drove away after the crash.

MONDAY

* Flamingo Road: A Laguna Niguel man was arrested on suspicion of

felony possession of narcotics in the 100 block at 3:33 a.m.

* Forest Avenue: An Aliso Viejo man was arrested on suspicion of

possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug

paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance

in the 300 block at 9:41 p.m.

SUNDAY

* Balboa Avenue and Del Mar Avenue: Police contacted a goat herder

after goats were reported on the loose on a fire road at 7:44 p.m.

* Vista del Sol and South Coast Highway: A Mission Viejo resident

was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after

reportedly driving “all over the road” at 9:40 p.m.

SATURDAY

* Canyon Acres Drive: A 2002 Volkswagen Beetle was reported stolen

in the 200 block at 8:32 a.m.

* Canyon Acres Drive: A woman reported her car had been vandalized

in the 100 block at 7:29 p.m.

* Carmelita Street and Cress Street: A man was arrested on

suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and

possession of drug paraphernalia at 3:54 a.m.

* Cypress Drive: Grand theft was reported in the 200 block at

10:33 a.m.

* South Coast Highway: A computer was reported stolen out of a car

in the 30700 block at 9:31 p.m.

SEPT. 10

* Baja Street: Story poles were reported knocked over in the 900

block at 11:51 a.m.

* Laguna Canyon Road: A hazardous condition was reported when a

caller said that a vehicle that had caught on fire was leaking

gasoline after the fire went out in the 1900 block at 1:02 p.m.

* La Mirada Street: A Los Angeles man was arrested on suspicion of

misdemeanor hit-and-run and resisting arrest in the 900 block at 6:18

p.m.

* Table Rock Drive: A woman reported someone was inside her house

in the 31500 block at 10:45 p.m.
