A 24-year-old Huntington Beach woman died after her SUV went out

of control on the Costa Mesa Freeway early Sunday morning.

Megan Toughill was killed in the accident at about 2:30 a.m.

Sunday, Orange County supervising deputy coroner Joseph Luckey said.

The woman was ejected from her 1998 Mitsubishi Montero after it

concrete divider and rolled several times, according to a California

Highway Patrol press release.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

An off-duty firefighter performed CPR on Toughill until rescue

crews arrived on the scene, Costa Mesa Fire Capt. Fred Seguin said.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Toughill was wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident,

according to the CHP. The cause is under investigation.
