Capistrano Valley. In 2003, he threw for 251 yards and three

touchdowns in a 27-0 blanking of the Cougars. Last Friday at

Capistrano Valley, the junior threw for a career-best 266 yards,

completing 15 of 23 passes that included a pair of touchdowns and a

two-point conversion in a 29-0 Edison victory.

“He had a big game against them last year and he did it to them

again this year,” Edison coach Dave White said. “We had talked all

week about Capo utilizing the blitz to cut off the run and that Brian

would need to be ready. He made some great reads out there, had some

great throws and two big scrambles for big yards. This was by far his

best game.”
