TUESDAY
* Caribbean Way: A burglary was reported in which a surround sound
system was stolen in the 1500 block at 5:05 p.m.
* Chiquita Street: A residential burglary in which a checkbook,
expired driver’s license and credit card were stolen was reported in
the 200 block at 5:55 p.m.
* Cliff Drive: A man reported his neighbor came to his residence,
yelled at him, tried to slap him and damaged his motorcycle in the
200 block at 10:02 p.m. The neighbor was arrested and released on
suspicion of battery and vandalism at 10:36 p.m.
* Mar Vista Road: Police received a report that coins worth $200
were stolen in the 31600 block at 11:12 a.m.
* Pearl Street: A disturbance was reported when police were told a
man who was yelling inside his truck was driving recklessly and
screeching his tires in the 200 block at 3:53 a.m.
* South Coast Highway: A hummingbird was reported stuck inside a
supermarket in the 700 block at 9:37 a.m.
* South Coast Highway: A white Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen in
the 30900 block at 3:04 p.m.
* South Coast Highway: Police found a missing girl after she
called her mother to be picked up in the 30600 block at 6:45 p.m.
MONDAY
* Cleo Street: A man reportedly refused to leave a store after the
clerk would not sell him alcohol in the 200 block at 12:45 a.m.
* Laguna Canyon Road: Forgery was reported when police were told
unauthorized checks had been written in the 21000 block at 12:56 p.m.
* South Coast Highway: Police received a report that $1,400 was
stolen in the 2100 block at 4:44 p.m.
* West Street and South Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach resident was
arrested on suspicion of resisting a peace officer and failure to use
a child restraint seat at 6:28 p.m.
* West Street and South Coast Highway: A driver was reportedly
yelling at other drivers at 9:12 p.m.
SUNDAY
* Ruby Street: A man reported his neighbor reached over his fence
to cut his trees in the 400 block at 2:25 p.m.
* South Coast Highway: A man reportedly refused to leave a
business after he had been kicked out multiple times in the 1000
block at 2:08 p.m.
* Top of the World Drive: Police received a report that a
handicapped parking sign was stolen in the 28800 block at 11:32 a.m.
* Victoria Beach: A Lake Forest man was arrested on suspicion of
possession of a controlled substance in the 2700 block at 12:18 a.m.
SATURDAY
* Broadway: A San Clemente man was arrested on warrant for
contempt of court in the 300 block at 5 p.m.
* Broadway: A transient was on suspicion of disorderly conduct in
the 200 block at 6:24 p.m.
* Forest Avenue: A woman who was recently released from jail was
reportedly yelling in front of a gallery in the 200 block at 1:34
p.m.
* Glenneyre Street: A hawk was reported flying inside a store in
the 1100 block at 10:48 a.m.
* South Coast Highway: A recently fired employee was reportedly
making threatening phone calls to employees in the 31800 block at
4:03 a.m.
* South Coast Highway: A ring valued at $1,000 was reported stolen
in the 400 block at 2:59 p.m.
* South Coast Highway and Wesley Drive: A woman was reported
acting strangely and yelling at cars at 8:04 p.m.
FRIDAY
* Wildwood Drive: A person reported $501.50 had been withdrawn
from the reporting party’s checking account on Sept. 13 in the 31500
block at 8:29 a.m.
