MARK THE DATE

In the coming weeks, the Daily Pilot will be compiling information

for a 2005 calendar. As we did last year, we hope to include all

major social, civic, business, entertainment and sporting events that

take place in Newport-Mesa and also at UC Irvine.

If you have events that you believe should be added to our

calendar, then e-mail the date, time, place and nature of the major

event to dpcalendar@ latimes.com.

Submissions will be subject to editing. The deadline to enter is

Oct. 29.
