Orange Coast Middle College High School teacher Charlotte Zaremba was

among 1,075 California teachers selected to receive grants through

BP’s “A+ for Energy” program. Zaremba received $5,000 ... UC Irvine

assistant professor Terry Y. Shibuya received the American Academy of

Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Honor Award at the academy’s

September convention in New York. An academy spokesperson said

Shibuya won the award “for his volunteer service and dedication to

the academy through serving on clinical, academic and educational

committees” ... Business lawyer Sharon R. Klein has rejoined Pepper

Hamilton, LLP, as a partner, the firm announced. Klein, who left in

2003 for personal reasons, will head the firm’s new office in Newport

Beach, as it seeks to expand its business technology legal services

... Danielle Galasso of Costa Mesa has graduated from Boston

University, the school announced. She earned a master of education

degree in curriculum and teaching.
