during a Santa Ana Country Club board of directors’ outing. He used a

3-wood. Johnson’s other aces have come at Santa Ana -- on the par-3

second -- and at Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course in Irvine.

net, clinching first place by two-tenths of a stroke. “I thought

10-under-par would maybe be good for fifth,” Johnson said. “I didn’t

have any idea we would win the tournament.”
