TASTE OF NEWPORT

Assistants are needed for the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce’s

16th annual “Taste of Newport” event, held Sept. 10 to Sept. 12

outside Fashion Island mall, 400 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach.

Volunteers will pour beverages, help in the ticket booths and greet

visitors. They’ll also receive a “Taste of Newport” T-shirt and free

TELL-A-FRIEND

Orange County cancer groups seek volunteers to encourage women to

have mammograms. Participants will take part in a one-on-one program

of education and encouragement specifically related to mammograms and
