consecutive shutout with a 2-0 win over Pacific Riptide on Saturday

in AYSO Region 97 action. The game-winning goal was scored by Gavin

Arblaster in the last minute of the first half.

The goal was a result of a well-placed cross from Rodri Ruvalcaba,

which was redirected by Rory Kew before Arblaster flicked a header

over the reach of the Riptide keeper. A reaction save by Jesse Perez

earlier in the match preserved the shutout.

Juan Gonzalez scored the other goal. Strong performances were

turned in by Sean Davis, Austin Wobrock, Austin Webster and Erickson

Klein. Zac Chocek and Cameron Conway consistently stripped opponents
